It was such an exciting day for Aptos students with Raina Telgemeier (Aptos alum) and
Kazu Kibuishi showing us their craft as graphic novelists. Our beautiful auditorium was fully packed with 500 students there to welcome them and learn how they became authors and illustrators. 85 Denman Middle School students walked over and joined us too. After the presentation, students were waiting outside the library as author "groupies".
